The Glacial St. Croix left more than a wide valley and high cliffs to impress visitors...it also drilled holes in the basalt, some of them so deep that it’s hard to see how water alone could form them.
Eva and Joe from Hiking the North will guide us through a 5 mile hike on several trails. Trail is from easy to moderate. Bring water, snacks, and backpack. Dress appropriately for the weather!
This event is free! There is a $7 dollar fee for all day access to the park. If you have a REGIONAL COUNTY PARK pass, it won't work for STATE PARKS.
Transportation to the park is not included. We will help facilitate carpools for you after you register here (scroll to the bottom): http://bit.ly/2vdp90T
After the hike, we invite people and their pups to join us for lunch at The Drive In, where thei outdoor seating is dog-friendly.
